Open DNS Server problem Print E-mail

When I go to www.dnsreport.com and enter my domain name to test it I also get an error saying that I have an Open DNS server problem.

Answer:
That is a new test added to the original dnsreport.com service. It points out that others could use my DNS services to find other websites. This is true and it is also necessary if we are going to set up a shared web server with hundreds of websites like yours. So it is not an error but a valid concern from the DNS report. As a shared hosting provider our server needs to be open like this. Unfortunately the error doesn't address this fact. If I were to lock it down so that the error disappears you would not be a happy hosting client. I wish they would add a new disclaimer to it sayng the error is normal for shared hosting environments.
