Why we don't offer "Unmetered Bandwidth" like a number of other hosts "claim" to do. A number of competing hosts say they don't meter the bandwidth from their clients' websites. We're disappointed that some web hosts feel that they need to offer this to get your business. They are being dishonest with you. We won't do it. Bandwidth costs real money and there definitely is no such thing as unmetered or free bandwidth. It is a marketing ploy. In business - everything is a calculated risk and we've done the math and aren't promising anything more than we can honestly provide. When you deal with us you can rest assured knowing that you'll get straight talk from our crew. We've figured out exactly what we can afford to offer so that we can honestly commit fixed and reasonable bandwidth to each account. This ensures that no one comprimises anyone else's website's reachability on each shared server that hosts 100's of accounts like yours. Everyone is assured equal access and fast loading of their website pages due to our stringent policies regarding bandwidth usage. We believe that the only way to build a long term business relationship with anyone is to build the relationship on trust. We're sure you'll agree and we're sure you also recognize more than ever that there is no such thing as a free ride. We consistently offer fair value in exchange for your trust. By the way ...... did you know that of all of our thousands of clients the average disk space used for a web site is only 1.6 MB and the average monthly bandwidth is less than half of the 1 GB we give you as part of our starter hosting package. That's why we structured our pricing and plans that way - to reflect reality. That's one of the biggest reasons we don't offer crazy amounts of space and bandwidth you'll never use. For the less than 1% who use more bandwidth per month - we'd like to say you can afford to pay more because you should be comfortably in the revenue generating phase by the time you use anything big and serious. |
